Anwendungen:
Konzentrisch verlegenes Aluminium-Litzenleiter ( AAC) besteht aus einem oder mehreren Strängen aus einer hart gezogenen Aluminiumlegierung 1350. Diese Leiter werden in Niederspannungs-, Mittel- und Hochspannungsfreileitungen verwendet. AAC hat in städtischen Gebieten, wo Spannweiten sind in der Regel kurz gesehen, aber hohe Leitfähigkeit uns erforderlich. Die ausgezeichnete Korrosionsbeständigkeit von Aluminium hat AAC zu einem Leiter der Wahl in Küstengebieten gemacht. Aufgrund seines relativ geringen Gewichts-/Festigkeitsverhältnisses war AAC aufgrund der langen genutzten Spannweiten nur begrenzt in Übertragungsleitungen und im ländlichen Raum verfügbar.
Die ausgezeichnete Korrosionsbeständigkeit von Aluminium hat AAC zu einem Leiter der Wahl in Küstengebieten gemacht. Obwohl Aluminium-Kupfer-Verbindungen hergestellt werden können, ist es besser, Aluminiumleiter für Serviceanschlüsse zu verwenden, da verschiedene Formen von abgedeckten Kabeln für diesen Zweck zur Verfügung stehen.
